Housing for young families
In a poor neighbourhood of Malvinas Argentinas, Córdoba, juvenile motherhood and fatherhood has been increasing in recent years. Young single mothers or couples have to stay with their parental families as they have no resources to build a home of their own. Overcrowding and lack of privacy affects the life of all inhabitants. The goal of this project was to build single room extensions and repairing roofs of 20 dwellings, so these young parents can have a place while still staying with their parents.
A savings scheme is in operation as to allow beneficiaries to return a small part of the financial help granted by the project to help other families in need to also repair their roofs or build an extension. This will allow over thirty families in total to benefit from this intiative.
