NHA CHONG LU
Once the project was selected, the NGO worked with local authorities to get a list of households who d bene t from the project.
In January 2020, the Project conducted the surveys based on the list provided by local authorities to identify the list of 8 families for Phase 1 since the project has been divided into 4 phases (each instalment has been calculated according to each phase). In March 2020, 8 families of Phase 1 have started the construction of their houses. They signed a three-way agreement with the project and local authorities; and signed the document about the families’ participation and SELAVIP’s contribution. The primary role of the Project was supporting the families in co-designing their houses to make sure the houses would be ood- resistant and minimize the cost. The families started the construction and bought the construction materials from local suppliers by themselves.
