Hundreds of structures slum in Accra demolished
The goal of the project was to rebuild new homes for 60 families who were resettled in Hohoe where a piece of land was acquired for the project by Mr. Akuamoah Boateng, Director of HRH-GHANA.
The built houses are compound houses with 6 rooms blocks each x 10 of them. These houses have been made with cement, ne sand, rough sand, wire net, aluminium roo ng sheets, electrical sockets, wood, quarry stones, plywood, iron rods, emulsion paints, oil paints, shovels, wheel barrows, poly tanks for water, P.v.C pipes, electrical cables and water wholes.
Some partners have locally supported the project : EwE Traditional Council, the Accelerated Rural Deve- lopment Organization ARDO and ProLink Organization.
The families have assisted in the molding of the bricks, fetching of water, sand, carrying of bricks for the skilled workers doing the laying of the walls on the construction works.
