A Slum Improvement Plan (SIP) has been prepared jointly by the beneficiaries and DHARA Community Development Federation (CDF) of the slums (70) and the municipal authority are involved in both plan- ning and implementation phases.
There have been no special problems in the project development since DHARA has been working with the slum community for several years now and they are quite well accepted in the community.
