Viviendas renovadas y mejoramiento del barrio

The goal was to improve the precarious and vulnerable housing of the families loca- ted in the high parts of the commune 15 of “JOSE CARLOS MARIATEGUI” and “SAUL CANTORAL HUAMANI” and promote their organization to perform improvements
of the neighbourhood to progress towards a safer and healthier living habitat and a proactive community against its problems and needs. In terms of improvement, 60 new housing (in wood with oor of cement) have been built.

The height and the lack of roads to reach the neighbourhoods, made the transfer of materials very heavy. This also required the support of neighbours and this support had to be coordinated, in terms of day or days and hours, since everyone had their labour obligations and their own family concerns.
