Shelters for Poor Families

The goal of the project, located in the Dindigul District (an administrative region in the south of Tamil Nadu), was to build small shelters in favour of poor daily wagers and their families, agri coolies and their families, rural and tribal families as well as widows in order to protect them from re and natural cala- mities. The amount of shelters was 35. The house structure size that has been built is 160 sqft’s with one bedroom, one kitchen, one door, windows and ventilators Haspetas cooling sheets, six feet height walls.

The families have mainly contributed to the project by making the foundation works and also small labor related works.
