Vivienda mínima en San Miguel Milpas Altas

Developping the community of San Miguel Milpas Altas through adequate and safe housing for 40 families was the goal of the project. Minimum housing has been desig- ned as a means of family development, improvement and integration into the society. The minimum housing consisted of a quarter block, made of sheet roof and metal structure, together with a toilet. It also has adequate facilities for electricity, water

and drainage. Together with Fundación Familias de Esperanza, the NGO will provide a follow-up of 4 years after having built the houses. During this time, families will work with programs of education, health, hygiene, housing maintenance, family motiva- tion, savings, self-esteem, among other important issues for families who, during

the implementation, have contributed as unskilled workers together with providing materials for the project.
