First of all, we would like to thank all of you who participated in the call for projects 2024, which will be dedicated to the centenary of our founder, Father Josse van der Rest SJ.<\/strong><\/p>\n

SELAVIP received a total of 343 projects from Africa, Asia and Latin America and the Caribbean<\/strong> of which 79% (270 projects) were declared admissible and thus obtained a placement ranking, by virtue of which, and from the funds authorised for the year 2024, 65 projects have been selected that will improve the quality of life of more than 9,000 families<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We invite the NGOs whose projects were selected to work together with the families that will benefit and, if possible, to join the public and private sectors, as this network makes everything easier when there is a will on all sides to get families out of these environments of poverty and misery.<\/p>\n

We also want to inform, in accordance with our policy of transparency, that the remaining 21% (73 projects) were declared inadmissible for not incorporating information that would allow a proper evaluation of the project, for not reading the terms of the call, for not complying with the objectives defined by SELAVIP, for using asbestos in the construction process and for delays in the execution of projects from previous years, some of which have not yet been completed.<\/p>\n

We would have liked to select many more projects. However our resources are limited, but we hope to be able to do it in the future, since with most of the NGOs, with which SELAVIP has worked in the past and also with the new ones that we add each year, we have been building friendship, trust, the effort to reach places of greatest need, and the transparency of working together for the poorest of the poor.<\/p>\n

Tout d’abord, nous tenons \u00e0 remercier tous ceux qui ont particip\u00e9 \u00e0 l’appel \u00e0 projets 2024, qui sera d\u00e9di\u00e9 au centenaire de notre fondateur, le P\u00e8re Josse van der Rest SJ.<\/strong><\/p>\n

SELAVIP a re\u00e7u un total de 343 projets en provenance d’Afrique, d’Asie, d’Am\u00e9rique Latine et des Cara\u00efbes<\/strong> dont 79% (270 projets) ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9clar\u00e9s \u00e9ligibles et ont ainsi obtenu un classement, en vertu duquel, et en fonction des fonds autoris\u00e9s pour l’ann\u00e9e 2024, 65 projets ont \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s qui am\u00e9lioreront la qualit\u00e9 de vie de plus de 9000 familles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Nous invitons les ONG dont les projets ont \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s \u00e0 collaborer avec les familles b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires et, dans la mesure du possible, \u00e0 associer les secteurs public et priv\u00e9, car ce r\u00e9seau facilite les choses lorsqu’il existe une volont\u00e9 commune de sortir les familles de ces environnements de pauvret\u00e9 et de mis\u00e8re.<\/p>\n

Nous souhaitons \u00e9galement informer, conform\u00e9ment \u00e0 notre politique de transparence, que les 21 % restants (73 projets) ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9clar\u00e9s inadmissibles pour ne pas avoir incorpor\u00e9 d’informations permettant une \u00e9valuation correcte du projet, pour ne pas avoir lu les termes et conditions de l’appel, pour ne pas avoir respect\u00e9 les objectifs d\u00e9finis par SELAVIP, pour avoir utilis\u00e9 de l’amiante dans le processus de construction et pour des retards dans l’ex\u00e9cution de projets des ann\u00e9es pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes, dont certains n’ont pas encore \u00e9t\u00e9 finalis\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Nous aurions aim\u00e9 en s\u00e9lectionner beaucoup plus. H\u00e9las nos ressources sont limit\u00e9es, nous esp\u00e9rons n\u00e9anmoins pouvoir le faire dans le future car avec la plupart des ONG, avec lesquelles SELAVIP a travaill\u00e9 dans le pass\u00e9, nous avons construit l’amiti\u00e9, la confiance, l’effort pour atteindre les endroits o\u00f9 les besoins sont les plus grands, et la transparence du travail en commun pour les plus pauvres des pauvres.<\/p>\n
