According to the NGO, this project has come across a halt due to the Covid-19 pandemic and related lock dons in India. Although they started to continue the construction activities, the local Addanki Municipal Authorities asked them to stop for a while and thus the works got delayed unexpectedly. Now they are permitted to continue construction activities since 16th August 2021, but again on the rise of new Covid-19 cases, directed them to start work from 5th September 2021.
