HOME AT LAST!
The project (like the previous ones : AF/09/17 and AF/05/2018) contemplated (1) the building of new dwellings (30). The average area per housing unit was 100m2 and main materials to be used included cement blocks, wood, stones, cement, zinc, BTC bricks, sand, plywood, gravel, etc. (2) The building of blocks of toilets (25), mainly made of cement blocks, stones, cement, sand, gravel, zinc, etc. Each block includes two toilets and a bathroom. Collective or community toilets, may have more toilets and baths as desired, depending on available additional materials. The toilet pits is 1m x 2m wide x 15m deep. The only di culty worth recording was that some bene - ciaries living on rocky or swampy zones couldn’t have their toilets dug beyond 50 cm deep. For such cases, their toilets were rather built 2 m above the ground level with cement blocks.
